/ 5/31/2007 12:50:00 am 四月天组团组了那么久， 我们终于出专辑了！！  为了感谢歌迷（有吗？）和朋友们（朋友们：“我们是被逼的！”）的支持，四月天也将举办他们的首场演唱会… 地点、时间、票价：未定。 （路人：搞什么吗？这样还要开演唱会？*翻白眼~*） ……… …… … 哈哈哈哈！不好意思，自high自high~ =x Anyway, my contract ended today.. So yupz! Last day of work already.. Thinking back, I used to dread work so much that the thought of having to go through this 3 months makes me wanna faint.. But now, with the blink of an eye, 3 months passed! *WOHOO I SURVIVED! :D* Life there wouldn't be the same without the other 3 members of 四月天，they really brought lotsa fun and laughter into Reading 大头芬 together, surfing blogs and friendster to spot for ___ (haha), the morning trips to the pantry (and back to our seats with Vitasoy/Ribena/Cranberry Juice/Green Tea/Bananas =x).. EVIDENCES....   .. / 5/29/2007 08:20:00 pm HEYS! :D It's TUESDAY :) Finally laid my hands on Gelare's half-priced waffles, wohoo.  .... looks nice eh? Haha.. Yeapz it's soooooooo nice for the first XX bites, but towards the end, we were so bloated and felt like puking, they put too much fresh cream liao lah. T.T  Opps, sorry for the disgusting pic, haha, I couldn't even finish that last few bites. x__X .. Anyway, Kaixin and Meilin managed to finish their waffles!! PEI FU! Wahaha~ So to speed up our rate of digestion, we decided to walk around Suntec. :) Saw someone who resembles JJ!! So cuteee!.. ^-^ And then we saw this capsule machine........   Instrumentsssss!! :D Me and Kaixin dong-ed money in it, she turn turn turned and got an Oboe and a Soprano Sax, then I got a Tuba......  I want French Horn de!.. No luck. Haha nevermind lah Tuba is a nice instrument also. :D Went back office, I got so bored that I drew this..  So random. Haha. Anw, this reminds me that I wanna watch POTC, soon!! POTC, anyone? Lionel Lewis. :)  HU stormed to the top of the Sleague with a 2-0 win over arch rivals cum defending champions, SAFFC. With this victory, it meant that the Protectors have defeated both the favourites for this season's title after having beaten the Stags 3-1 towards the end of last month. Looking at the league table, HU has conceded ONLY 7 goals in 10 ten games. And for those of you who have caught last friday's game or have been following the protectors glory trail this season, you will certainly have taken note of one player in the Home United ranks - Lionel Lewis. Lionel made numerous crucial saves in last friday's game and his first save (as seen in the sequence of 4pics above) from Ashrin Shariff when the game was less than a min is deemed as most crucial. It would have given HU a mountain to climb if Lionel had not pushed the ball away. Despite Home United's postion at the top of the league, most people would think that the 2003 sleague champions had an easy ride so far, but I beg to differ. The 24 years old Lionel is the difference between HU and the other teams. Balestier coach, Abdul Karim Razzak, described Lionel as a goalkeeper that can win 20 points for his team in a season. Similarly, how often do you hear the opposition coach singling Lionel out for praises, be it in Sleague or international games? It will be no surprise if Lionel is named the Sleague Player of the Season if Home United were to bag the Sleague title.  Lionel is a player who needs no introduction given his exploits with the Singapore Lions in recent years. However, for those who are interested in some facts and figures abt your favourite football idol, here are some info I got from the Wiki and also based on what I can recall.
In 2006, the police officer was nominated for the AFC player of the year award, the 1st Singaporean to be nominated for the award in the 13th year history of the award. The nomination makes it sweeter as he is the only goalkeeper among the 10 nominees. The rise of Singapore Soccer since 2004 and Home United this season is coupled with the emergence of Lionel as an uncompromising goalkeeper. His huge frame makes it almost impossible to score against him in 1 to 1 situations. Whenever Lionel stands between the posts, his agility, reflexes, safe handling and astute reading of the game gives extreme confidence to the rest of his teammates, especially the defenders. It is with this air of confidence that has seen Singapore defended its ASEAN cup successfully and HU lead in the Sleague. May there be more triumphs in future. People say that strikers win you games, and hence the strikers are usually paid the most in a club. (look at Ronaldo, Ballack, Shevchenko) but in my view, Lionel wins games for HU and Singapore. He made numerous incredible saves so far in his career and hopefully Lionel can be the 1st Singaporean to play in a European league after the Fandi and Sundram era. Spotted a "tornado" in Sg for the first timeeee. :) [For a nicer pic, refer to today's Straits Times, I took this when half of it was gone.. T.T] (It's a water sprout to be exact, but anw, is water sprout a smaller scaled tornado??? o.O??) Heard it lasted for 30mins, cos it's difficult to have a sustainable one here due to our limited flat surface.. Heng also lah, or else everything will be gone, haha. :D Late night shopping with Meilin, Weelin and Kassyn for the first time! :D ... Haha fun! :) Met Jess, Charis and Xinni on the way too! :D BTW!.. June is nearing! But lazy to blog. :X) Anw, Cousin lost her HP, she dropped it at the playground, someone just took it and kept it. Ahh damn that idiot who took the phone, I believe in Karma. Boo. But otherwise, chalet was fun! :) Family gathering, daddy's secondary school gathering (hmmz interesting.. haha), daddy's birthday celebration, buffet, BBQ, karaoke, mahjong, running, cycling, football, muscle aches =x Pictures :) 1. / 5/19/2007 12:02:00 am Home Utd won Home Utd won Home Utd won against SAFFC!! hahahahaha :D 2-0. It's the sweetest victory ever. They're now on the top of the table again! Leaving SAFFC with 3 points behind. :) :) :) It was a super exciting and interesting match :) Shifu says the team's tactic is good! :D They really played hard and with determination also! Swee did play in the first 11 today throughout the match :) .. They changed his position to defensive midfielder from the usual striker, nevertheless, he played well too! :) Lionel's saves were fabulous!! (He got the Man of the Match award :D) Yeapz so I feel that they really deserved to win today! :) Haha btw, all the recruits from the Civil Defence actually went down to support Home Utd! (I saw Alvan! Haha!) Great atmosphere at the Home side also! Finally can sit at Home Utd's side after sooo long... Haha.. Thanks Vincent for accompanying me!! :D Yeah sooo HAPPY! / 5/10/2007 09:18:00 am heys! :)  finally watched Spiderman 3 with laojie last night! :) nice movie, nice plot, nice graphics :) wasn't THAT draggy after all.. still alright :) go catch it if you haven't! supposed to watch the 7pm slot at Cine, but we pushed to 730pm because we haven't had our dinner. so we went Taka to eat, because only Lido has the 730pm slot, and Taka is near Lido. :O by the time we finished our dinner, it's 730pm alrdy, haha. so we decided to catch the 8pm slot instead. then we walked back to Cine, and realised that the tickets for the 8pm were selling fast (the 8pm slot on the screen was blinking in orange) .. means there wasn't any good seats left. so we decided (again) to watch the 845pm one. so we started queuing, the queue was !@#$%^& long and moving super slowly. so by the time we almost reached the counter, the 845pm slot started blinking. -___-" *fast forward* so we ended up watching the 930pm one. haha. T.T [hahaha kkz im trying to be LONG-winded. =x] btw, haha we entered the wrong cinema =x .. the movie was halfway through and we thought we were late. =x .. we already walked halfway down the seats and then realised that we were in the wrong cinema, so we went out. =x .. luckily it's pitch dark, and hopefully people doesn't recognise us. =x anw, i've been spending a lot (shit!).. esp on food and transport :( .. haven't shop for bags and clothes yet. T.T anw, i saw this very nice bag at new urban male, but it's so ex, 169bucks, my tian. T.T and i saw nice tshirts there too, $59.90, plus the material isnt that good, so not worthed it. =( and i saw this very very nice Adidas polo-tee-but-not-polo-tee (dunno wad isit called).. the material is gd! but.. it's.... 72 bucks. T.T BOOHOO. oh yah, then PSP also!.. even though it's selling at $290, but have to buy it's accessories + games also, so add up shud b quite ex also? then half my pay will be gone! T.T .. so i've discarded the idea of buying one alrdy (even thou i still very much wants it! =x) yeahloh.. like that lor. =( anw, http://datoufen.blogspot.com keeps me entertained at work :) |

/ 5/06/2007 11:41:00 am HEYOZ! :D haven't been updating frequently was kinda busy (and lazy) these days.. hohoho =x how's everyoneeeeee?? :) we went to celebrate jessica's belated bdae that day! saw this group of ah lians outside Mos Burger, who are probably only sec 1 or 2.. anw, the main point is, one of them, their eye shadow is.. WAH PIANGZ EH........... T.T hahahahahahaha!! =x yeahh anw, here are the pics we took! (not pics of that girl kkz, lols xD) Birthday girl and I :D [stupid p*mple! #%$&$%^*&]  Jess and Kaixin!  Jess says that she can't see her eyes in this pic, so took another one..  wahahahaha!!! kkz.. so in the end she decided to be normal............ lol.  Jess and The Boss.  Charis!!  hahaha charis grew super tall within seconds after eating some xian1 dan1.. haha.. no lah. :P and pic of the day!!  haha kaixin's photo taking skill is gd siaz.. always so centralised. lol. :) yeapz!! :DD oh yah yesterday shifu aka vincent taught me how to play football! :) he taught me the basics.. like ball feeling, ball control all those.. short pass, long pass, and a lot a lot.. :) we trained at farrer park's field for like 2.5 hours in the morning :) kinda train me mentally, cos i have short attention span, so gotta learn to stay focused in order to play well.. yeah! so even though now a bit bit chao ta, a bit bit of muscle ache, it's worth it cos i've learnt quite a lot, be it technically, or learning how to appreciate the sport better! :D anw, i must say that shifu is really a gd coach! he teaches well and make sure i understand, very encouraging and patient too! *mentally, physically, technically, tatically* i will remember! :D looking forward to the next training! haha ^-^ home utd vs KSR tonight! i'm goingggggg!! :P |

T.T ............................ woHoO this week passed super quickly.. esp when tues is a public hol + i didnt work ytd cos we went for training and then took halfday off.. we went SCH ytd to see the juniors rehearse for SYF :) btw.. cant wait for school to start soon.. still haven receive any letters from NUS and NTU (kkz at least if reject me can faster send me the rejection letter?! haha! =x) anw, quite mao2 dun4 arh.. a part of me hopes that either NUS or NTU will accept me, yet another part of me wants to get into NBS... ....................................... dunno. anw! cant wait for tmr!!
