/ 6/29/2006 03:37:00 pm HELLO. didn't go sch today ah pengz.. panorama rehearsal ended super late and i reached home super late last nite. then k.o le~ so today super tired lah. so many ppl ponned ahaha oh manz~ the rehearsal yesterday was.. a-waste-of-time lols. cos we reached esplanade at around 9am and rot and rot and had lunch and a bit of rehearsal and rest and rot and had dinner and the whole thing started at only 7:30pm wahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa =.=".. oh yah bef0re rehearsal ah nth to do so weilun asked one whole big group of us to play IDIOT. the person who got I-D-I-O-T first have to err.. yah pole dance for 1 minute~ =.=".. then yogi damn suay kena.. then pole dance lor.. infront of the whole band somemore ahaha~ he had to do 5 moves lah and the last one was... licking the pole. oh manz. ahahahaha. but yeah he managed to do it =D PEIFU! yah then did a lot of stupid things lah lol fun.. anyway here are some pics taken ytd.. / 6/25/2006 08:37:00 pm  wOhOo!~ =Dfinally got the CD autographed YEAH!! =D 其实蛮迟才到的啦，可是因为大家都座着，所以我就“不知不觉”的混到前面了 wuhuahuahuaz!! Since it's a 全签会 so was thinking of buying the pictorial book lahh, saw huijuan at the JJ's CD booth and then she told me that it was out of stock.. oh manz disappointed. I reached 1hr before the autograph session starts lah (oh manz kiasu wahaha~) .. dat place was kinda uluated ah so spent quite some time searching for the place.. it's outside coffee bean and near royal sporting house. royal sporting house siaz, have been 混-ing dat place after sch for quite some time and i didn't know that shop exists ahahaha~ =.-" .. so while waiting, JJ's songs were playing in the background ah :) so nice.. then met lao jie wohoo! =D yeapz anyway, JJ today 超帅! 暴帅! heez~ not dat kind of his CD's 封面造型 dat kinda 帅.. he wore just a tshirt and yah, shud be khaki long pants if i din rmb wrongly (high possibility of rmbing wrongly cos his tshirt very nice ah den din notice other stuffs liao wahaha =x) .. yup so shud be can imagine lah.. that kinda 简简单单的帅 :) .. even laojie was mesmerized by him wahaha =x .. yeapz so he sang 熟能生巧, oh manz almost melted~ =P~ den was 金莎's guest appearance :) .. and den the autograph session.. since i was (cut) queuing infront, so me and laojie were the first few-but-not-very-few people to get his autograph. =D .. yeapz dat's all lahs. :)) JJ~~~` ahahaha melted. =P happy :) |

/ 6/18/2006 10:18:00 pm  YAY i'm back from famine camp!haha didn't regret attending the camp, cos firstly, we had learnt a lot a lot.. Secondly, made new friends! =D .. Thirdly, ZHIYANG! LOL. Clarify a bit, didn't go for the camp specially to see him hor.. it's coincidence ah, COINCIDENCE. had to reach sajc at 10am to register lah.. sadded lah cos most of the tpjcians were separated into different 'families'.. (aiyo then got a tpjcian so lucky lah same grp as zhiyang~) .. but yah anw, when the camp offcially starts at 2pm, we had this roleplay thingy lah.. Like Singapore kena disaster then we are supposed to reunite with our family by the end of day 1.. oh yah their 1 day is like 2.5 hours only lah.. okay so my leg supposed to be injured so i haf to report to the hospital and wait for my parents and my other siblings to find me.. so i waited and waited, folded cranes while waiting (cos for every crane folded, songhe will donate a bowl of rice for the people in poverty-stricken countries..) waited and waited.. wait from waiting area crowded till waiting area almost empty.. thot they're gg to abandon me and brother.. :( .. then finally they came.. brother kena HIV already hahahahaha omg. lotsa activities lah.. it's a 30 Hour Famine Under No Roof Camp, they really meant NO ROOF, (and no food also of cos..).. so we have to sleep outdoors, and we have to build our own shelters. BUT we have to earn money (aka ice cream sticks) to buy materials for our shelters.. got different jobs lah but we chose Prostitution (-_-") cos it allows us to earn $12 in 5 mins.. whereas other jobs like beans sorting takes up to 15minutes and if our family couldn't finish in time, we wun get any money.. aiya den quite jialat lah cos we kena raided by the police twice at the prostitution centre and at the black market hahahaha.. then papa had to forfeit some of our money to the police hahaha omg. aiya then still got do a lot of other things lah.. lazy to elaborate le.. at the end of day 1, 10 best groups were given chocolate milk (omg luxury!) .. they were groups that didn't send their children to the prostitution centre to earn money.. so yup learning pt: bcos we think that this was just a game so no harm going for prostitution for more money in a shorter time.. but in real world situations, there are actually many many poverty-striken families, and the parents actually had to force their children into prostitution just to earn money to feed the family.. it's so sad lah.. =/ this camp actually allows me to deeper understand poverty issues.. and to actually made me realise how VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY fortunate we are, really. in these countries, people live on less than US$1.50 a day, and because of an average of 360 natural disasters, their agricultural activities would usually fail.. they had no food to eat and as a result, they die of hunger at a rate of 24,000 a year, which means, every 5 seconds, 1 person will die.. their living conditions is super very jialat that children can actually swim in rivers where people pass their motions.. yah and a lot a lot a lot la.. oh yah and made new friends! my family basically consisted of people from different schools la.. papa wilfred, mama michelle, and my siblings.. elvan, shona, jeremy, paul, shimin (so qiao arh same name =D), shimona, shunli, and our facilitator anshul.. supposed to have another 2 more siblings but they most probably had died during the disaster lah so sad.. (aiya they ponned the camp lah..) .. haha jerald's gay friend jeremy was in my grp lah omg haha crappy. today we went to collect newspapers at tampines estate.. yeapz tired lah. T.T .. dunno why didn't really felt hungry for the last 29hours lah, only felt super hungry at the last hour haha omg omg.. then FINALLY at the 30th hour, dinner! BK burgers ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh but dunno why see food dun feel like eating hahaha.. yeapz actually still got a lot a lot of things to blog about lah.. but very tired ah.. din regret going for the camp lah, in fact we want to join next year and next next year also.. really learnt a lot ah, aiya must really go experience it then understand one lah, i say so much also no use.. =x so the camp ended.... went to look for zhiyang and took a pic with him.......... =x |

DAYTONA-IS-A-NICE-GAME haha let's go play again one day.. but yah anw, thanks thanks thanks a lot of yesterday! / 6/10/2006 11:21:00 pm =D .. met up with suehwa, limin, sarah and huishan today! yeapz we went shopping haha.. window shopping lah cos i ended up not buying anything.. alright we went far east, on the way there saw liangyu+gf and LLB.. (in case you all dunno, LLB is my biao ge.. nicknamed him LLB cos his name is 家业 and because of the 业, 业业业业....叶叶叶叶 lol so we call him Leaf Leaf brother aka LLB lol.) the encounter with LLB was traumatising -_-" haha.. was talking halfway then suddenly got someone calling "minmin" from behind, machiam ghost like that.. then i was thinking which idiot is calling me dat.. then turned back.. saw his big face infront of me hahaha almost pengz-ed. they went to shop for clothes and shoes and bags and i was kinda bored cos i didn't shop for all these for soooooooooooooooooooooooo damn long and eventually, i forgot what 'shopping' is oledi hahahaha omg. we had ramen for dinner at this ramen restaurent, the food is good and not that ex and the drinks are great too hahahahahahahaha.. wOsHz food food food! heheheeeeeee!~ =P~~~~~ ................... wonder how am i going to survive for famine camp siaz.. -_-" then went to cine to do the as-usuals, take neoprint, eat ice-cream, oh yah the ice cream portions are soooo much bigger than swensen's.. ordered 8 scoops for the 5 of us and for the FIRST TIME, we couldnt finish it. usually at swensens, we will s-c-r-a-p-e clean the bowl hahahahaha.. okay lah that's all. thanks for the presents ah.. hahahaha i tink the 5 of us every year have to go to Craft 5 times to buy presents siaz omg. can change place? hahahahaha......... |

Will be playing El Capitan as set piece if i'm not wrong, then choice piece will be Toccata Maziale. O-M-G. Horn Sect ROCKS and Da Chang Jin ROCKS too! Haha a bit no link. =P Hey we must work hard okay must show that 2 that without them we still can survive and live well hoooo~!! Anyway xxxxx's band is gold lor, not gwh, they still dare to say themselves till like very pro like that.. K-N-S go home slp lah. BLEH. 140+++++ days to A Levels, Sept 11 = Prelims, omg. J2s must add oil (mentally not physically) ah! J1s must work hard for promotional exam too okay! Get over and done with, don't advance ah or else Dec hols damn jialat. :) mummy and daddy will be flying off to HK tml ah, hopefully i can wake up on time to send them off at the airport. :)) mummy gave me an early birthday present... / 6/05/2006 10:48:00 pm HEY the new version of Our Shared Dream is kinda sucky, changes in key signatures and the whole thing sounded weird. -_-" Went TM just now, still don't know what to buy for mum's birthday. Da Chang Jin rocks! Hooooo!! Came across this blog and that guy who wrote this rocks big time lol! shan't say who lah lols. Be prepared, it's a looooooong post... We need a change in leadership.We need a new leader. TPJC needs a new leader. Looking at the current state of affairs, TPJC is in a mess. Our 20th anniversary has not been conducted well and there's only one person to blame. Let's start with last carnival cum open house. There was a criteria that all booths and station had to reach in order to get permission from the school to operate, the criteria was that the games had to be educational. That's stupid. Games = fun. Since when are people attracted to a carnival just because they're showing educational stuff. The strategy of attracting people was all wrong too. It was a carnival cum open house. But what was targeted was only the sec3 and sec4 students, and this was being openly told to the whole school. Again, that's stupid. Being a carnival, you should target everyone in tampines, not just students. Then again, the fun factor is already zeroed. Just walk along the heritage corridor, find the year 1995, look at the carnival 10 yrs ago. Back then it wasn't a carnival, it was a fund-raising funfair, to raise funds for building the auditorium. It was a funfair. And look at the crowd. Admission was free, the same as this year, but tickets were sold at $10, and people could play games, buy food and drinks with the tickets. It doesn't matter if people are paying, they would if they're paying for something of quality, not boring 100% education based games. Its not that tpjc's image has gone down over 10 years, its the change in leadership. Anyway that blue banner at the interchange has got it all wrong, it should be games are free, not admission. Then again, the games ... Upcoming 4th of july is the esplanade concert, paranoma. A fusion of ... watever. For those who don't know, its a concert involving all the performing arts groups, and the final show would be an item by the guitar band co and choir. A piece writtern by the director of singapore idol, mr iskandar. And in case you don't know. This song is expensive. the cost of this song is 4 digits. and whats with the rehearsal at the esplanade. Renting the esplanade cost about 10k? And tpjc is renting it twice?. No wonder we have to sell the tickets at 20 and 30 bucks. Anyway do you know that we're still making a loss? even if we sell ALL the tickets at 30 bucks? Thanks to the 4 digit cost of the song and the 2 bookings for the esplanade. And btw, have you heard the song? Its okay, but its not great. Thanks to our great leader, the song writer has to rush his work 2 months ahead of schedule. Imagine your PW deadline being push 2 months ahead, leaving you with 2.5 weeks to complete it. What do you produce?. crap. Not that the song isn't nice, i've play it and its okay, not great. Anyway, is there a necessity to fork out so much money to have something like this produced? Is the esplanade necessery in the first place? 20 and 30 is student expensive. Why have it at the esplanade when you want your own students to watch it? Have it at the hall, have it at the audi (where we spent $$$ expanding it by, a little..). IF one isn't enough, lets have two session, its within the school anyway and since its a school events, charge it cheap and everyone can enjoy. why the esplande? why the 20 and 30 tickets. Have a in school performance, for the students, have another one at the esplanade, for the rest of the world. Don't be stupid and ask your own students to pay for what you spent, stupid. Is there a need to showoff? 2.5 weeks to receive a score, practise, combine practice, and rehearse for a collegeday is rush. We did it but its rush. Why the need to show it off. Why the need to perform something (the score) that was rush to complete it in the first place. And the score is not complete, there's another half coming up. Such unorganised planning. July 4th is a date too late. Was the student's welfare thought of. Or was it "oh July 4th so they have the June hols to practice". thats extremely stupid, whats common test? something to ignore?. Mr Iskanda should have been contracted early last year and signed to finish the entire score last decemeber and we should have finished the entire performance by now. Lousy planning. Whats with the dinner? Why is it at the final and concluding event? Is it bigger than the concert? Is eating and speeches something that requries more effort than practising and rehearsing for the concert, therefore something to take more weight than the esplanade concert? Or is it just going to be another staff dinner and a speech by you. Does it involve the students? Or will they be slugging it out at your expenses again. Does it involve the school? Or does it involve you. stupid. Wheres the focus. On our uniform? On draw strings and on skirts 8cm above the knees? Where's the focus? On our CCAs and performing arts? Our "niche" areas? Or our academics where it matters. A $6 white carnival tee to buy us over? What is it that matters? 04-05 did not do as well. Your stocks are falling in price, are you just going sell them? Or are you going to ensure that they rise. Such priorities. Did the GOH at the collegeday say anything nice? Did he say that the song was nice? Did he appreciate all the flowers around the school that cost so much $$$? Did he enjoy the banners that were put up that used so much manpower? Did he feel that the catered food was good? Did he sense the effort that we contributed in 3 rehearsals for him? Was he impressed by all these? Was he impressed by you? ... was he impressed by the miserly 22 students who scored 3As?... Where's your effort to help the students academically. We all need time to study. We all need the resource to study. Goodness the econs book in the library by John sloman is only the 2nd edition, and the 5th edition is out already. Wheres the funding for the econs resource. More importantly, where does the funding go to. To the 2 new security guards who so make the school much safer place? To the 24 new cameras installed at every corner of the school? To the new OM who has so improved the level of discipline in the school? to your $6 shirt ? .... stupid Student welfare? Where's it? Where's the promised promise? Are you still eating meals brought from home inside your office, or do you eat from the canteen? Do you wear our PE shirt while having a jog during your weekend evenings, or does it feel uncomfortable? Have you sat inside LT1 and join the students for a lecture, or are you always enjoying the air condition of your office? Do you know of the yazid affair? Do you even visit TPJC.net? How close you are with the school, how greatly respected you are... Was your declaration of the 5th of July as a holiday favoured by the school? And finally, we have a representative from our school in the supergirl competition, thanks to you. cheers. We need a change in leadership. |

/ 6/04/2006 09:17:00 pm i've got 10 things to blog about.. 1. my ulcers hurt like hell after i rubbed salt on them, band tml, hopefully i can even play my horn. zzz.. :( 2. mum's birthday coming, but she's going overseas with my dad. 3. birthday's coming, but mum and dad wont be home to celebrate with me. :( 4. birthday's coming, got band. :( 5. busy month. i want more free time. :( 6. Phy CT coming. :( 7. motivation. =/ 8. yazid's news hit today's sunday times, pg4. spoil sch's reputation. =/ 9. fathers' day coming, but got famine camp. :( 10. i need more free time to exercise instead of sitting in the band room all the time / sitting down studying all the time. :( gosh, depressing. :'( |
