/ 2/22/2006 07:38:00 pm 身为华人，会说华语和对自己文化有一定的认识是理所当然的。在现今的新加坡社会里，华文华语是否还有一席之位？政府让这个语言显得既重要又不重要。他们在推广“说华语”运动同时也降低了华文的升学标准，一降就降到D7？D7？连一个PASS都不是。现在的学生就是那么现实，知道华文不重要，不被重视，就不把它当一回事。就拿我校来做个比喻，认真上华文课的学生有几个？翘课的翘课，华文班的座位从未坐满。有时老师还得亲自通过户联网传简讯去“请”他们来上课，但他们最终仍是不以为然。而且，新加坡“不会说华文的华族学生”以成了许多外地国家的笑柄。难道我们的这个教育政策真的出了差错？ 总得来说，我们不应该因为学华文在将来的世界会很吃香才去学华文，更不应该只为了应付考试而去学华文，而是应该因为我们是华人，为了要更了解自己的语言，自己的文化而去学的。既然华文已流传了几千年了，再流传多几千几万年应该不要紧吧？Aiya, anyway, 身为华人的我们不应该抛弃自己的语言啦，我可不希望将来自己的后代 jia gan dang. =x Okay go do homework liao. |

/ 2/15/2006 09:54:00 pm HAPPY TOTAL DEFENCE DAY EVERYONE!! lols. yes total defence day, a day with lotsa homeworks and test to study for. haha. had a super tiring day today. was dozing off during gp lesson and band prac. speakin of band prac, so lonely today manz. :( .. horn section nobody. haiss.. oh yupps.. our class emerged as the champion for the ever-ready bag competition! :).. thank you.. thanks the class for choosing our group to represent the class.. thanks huiling for the big help! thanks jonathan for being the group leader. most importantly, a BIG BIG thank you to jocelyn and meiyi for volunteering to present our proposal to the whole of j2s!! last but not least, thanks everyone who had voted for us! there will be another round of presentation tomorrow during the j1 assembly.. yeaps!! oh yah miss lee, rmb to top up our prize ah.. we dowan perishable stuffs aka food hor.. we want some THINGS yeaps! lolll :)) OH SHIT ECONS TEST TOMORROW! |

/ 2/14/2006 06:55:00 pm valentines' day!! yay!! hahaha sch was super duper fun today!! used to "celebrate" v-day in sec sch but it's super duper much more fun now. really! :)) .. we exchanged gifts among one another lah basically.. oh yah.. lao jie helped me pass the chocos to mtvs lols thanks a lot.. =D .. then ah.. last two periods = chinese.. got to watch a movie, very nice :)) .. then after sch went to meet jess they all.. yeapz.. yeapz fun day!! and thanx des ong des chan and qh for the flowers even thou ms leow forced you all to buy wahahaha =x got to hand in maths assignments tml.. and.. do tuition homework later.. and the gp essay. bao zha!~ |

/ 2/14/2006 12:35:00 am SHIT im lag. it's doreen's bdae a few hrs ago lah.. how can i forget manz. lousy junior lol. anyway, today ah, so tired lah. the weather super humid manz. luckily got econs lecture in one of the LTs.. air-con WOHOO! lol. had PE today, we played soccer.. super funny lah bao zha. hahahaha.. then after that had a dry run on wads going to happen tomorrow for the presentation. oh yah.. and today's darren's last day of school lah.. =( orh.. then on the bus back to bedok, PEK CHEK manz.. 2 ah bengs boarded the bus and sat somewhere near me.. TMD they talk ah, every sentence got vulgarities one. bth. zzz... ehh after that went to cut hair cos my hair is irritating me for the past few days.. eh den CUT ah! / 2/08/2006 09:06:00 pm wOhoO! road run!! after 4yrs of bedok reservoir, finally, it's east coast park! today actually planned to walk all the way one.. den in the end i started running. then run liao dun feel like stopping also wad.. then run ah run ah, leg pain, here pain there pain, actually felt like giving up but huiling encouraged me to run ahh.. so in the end managed to finish the race quite fast.. thanks huiling! and then we rewarded ourselves with a few cups of milo from the milo van wahaha! after that went orchard with spastic gang. stupid yogi pangsehed us. we went to watch fearless, nice show manz! then after that shop shop shop.. den now so tired. time flies, the j1s are getting back their results on this friday. i seriously hope the GM-gang will stay.. do homework. |

"shimin, your eyebag bigger than your eyes leh!" omg. today so tired yet so not tired. (LOL) had my first maths remedial wif lim jiin today. think i wan to sack my maths tuition teacher already, lim jiin is so much better. hahaha den after that is econs. the lesson was boring, or maybe everyone was tired, so some of them fell aslp.. i keep waking ppl up, then i ended up falling aslp PE - so slack manz. wahaha. after that went for sectionals. oh my tian. yi shan hai you yi shan gao. i thought orient express is bad enuff. now got A Movement for Rosa. OMT. i told lim bock boon to buy insurance for me and darren, cos we scared later play halfway we die. crazy manz, omg. DO HOMEWORK LIAO WAHAHA. =x |

/ 2/02/2006 03:57:00 pm today started badly. my bus came earlier than usual so i missed the bus. took another bus and that bus reached the school's bus stop at 7:24am, which is like one minute before the morning assembly starts. so i walked super duper ultra fast (not that fast also lah, or else i would be flying =x) and ran when i saw the teachers ran.. okay den jus nice nice nice nice reached the courtyard on time.. yeah so morning assembly ended. miss lee found out that i didn't wear my badge so she forced me to go and buy. pengz den i ran all the way from the courtyard to the bookshop and back to the courtyard. after that was PE. skipped PE cos the closer friends in my group didn't go for PE.. so pon lah.. actually counted as got PE also lah, with all the runnings i had before that. the rest of the day weren't that bad lah. heng. later going for the Chingay training. hope it will be fun and hope that nothing bad will happen. =x |
